Let us make use of our ocean to train Olympic ocean marathon swimmers and nurture other talents in water sports. Let us establish public swimming pools in each of the 4 sub counties since almost all the schools in Kwale County have no swimming pool facilities. Selected youth groups can be contracted to offer swimming training at affordable rates as well offer maintenance and rescue services. This is creating employment and at the same time talent development initiative. Annual swimming competitions can help us promote sports tourism for maximum benefits.
