Scope & Objectives

The Peer Safenets and Annual Camp Program is a social intervention seeking to address gaps in parenthood & upbringing of school going youngsters and out of school youths with a view to achieving the following main objectives:

1.  Create a safe environment for development of healthy friendships among teens and youths.
2. Make it possible for parents, guardians, spiritual leaders and other mentors to interact with teens and youth friendship networks to promote responsible and safe friendship habits.
3. Create opportunities for face to face interactions, social engagements and extended custom personalized mentoring of friendship networks by parents, teachers, imams, pastors and other mentors.
4. Create a friendly and competitive environment for friendship networks to share unique friendship stories and events.
5.  Bring together different friendship networks during the annual peers’ safenets camp for adventure, bonding and learning.

Guardianship & Responsible Peer Friendships

As a guardian are you aware of the closest friends to your daughter or son and the magnitude of influence and impact they have on your son or daughter’s social life & personal development? How often do you interact with your son’s or daughter’s friends? As guardians of friendship networks, would you like to engage in joint activities and events with your sons and daughters to guide them to positive healthy friendships and general success in life?

Mosque and Church Roles for Peer Healthy Friendships & Spiritual Growth
