As Ummah Initiative helps to develop a three year Kwale local task force work plan, significant consideration will be put in local SMEs training, mentoring, coaching, networking and other capacity building initiatives. A training manual with custom extractive sector training needs and resources will be developed.

Local Task Force Members and Kwale Biashara Center trade officers will be trained as trainers and a training schedule introduced at the Biashara Centers and the upcoming Ummah Kwale County Resource Center. In addition the work plan will come up with local content monitoring and evaluation strategies which could as well be linked to similar functions as proposed in the draft bill 2018 for the national local content committee.
