On the 9th of August, the UIG team was able to meet Hon. Nasib Omar County Executive Member in charge of Tourism, Trade and Enterprise Development. We discussed so much about the structure and functions of the Kwale County Local Content Task force. We appreciate the good will and commitment that he has given to ensure the task force is fully operational. Considering his prime role as CECM and the role of the Biashara Centers in this local content Kwale SMEs Supplier Development initiative, UIG will be working hand in hand with the Department of Tourism, Trade and Enterprise Development to deliver the overall goal of economic empowerment for youth, women and PWDs as they access opportunities within the extractive sector and other multi national corporations.
