Mwele Football Club who clinched the Bungale Cup Season two Title in a Competitive Final against Zingaro Fc on 31st December, 2017 in Mwaluphamba Grounds, Mkongani Ward, today have received their Certificate of Registration as a Self Help Group.

The registration was made successful courtesy of Ummah Initiative who have been supportive from the word go.

The certificate will economically open doors to the football club where youths can freely engage themselves into small scale businesses achieving the core value of the Foundation “Economic Empowerment”

Lets celebrate this and together continue to support the youth. We will not let you down with this assignment. Jimbo Letu Wajibu Wetu Maendeleo Yetu.Let us also discuss how to run a free of charge basic computer program for the youth that will include entrepreneurship skills and mentorship.”

Ali Libondo – Executive director Ummah Initiative Group.

Thanks Ummah Initiative for this gesture. What I need to tell you is that this is so dear to me. I want to prove a point or points to the youth. The persistence and consistence are two valuable variables for success. That success is there but one needs patience and good tidings come in the future. It’s that dear to me. My vision is to see five of these groups in mkongani by end of five years…….one per village unit with a project worth KES 100, 000. I don’t know why you like thinking in the same lines as I do. Just opening up the place and minds of the youth is something that has been eating my mind. Why not brother Ali Libondo,  Ummah Initiative will always be my point of entry. I want to have a program of playing for benefit but also play when you’re economically empowered. That idea is welcome. Thursday and Friday are good days for the discussion”
